When & Where is Santa Dash CARDIFF? Sunday, December 13th 2020 at Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff Bay

What time does the Santa Dash start? Festivities will begin from 10am, the warm-up is 11.30am and the dash starts at 12:00 pm.

Who can take part in the Santa Dash? Anyone can take part, however, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

How far is the Santa Dash? Just under 5K.

Do you have to run the Santa Dash? No, you can walk, run, skip or even dance your way through the dash. It’s all about having festive fun for a great cause.

Do you have to dress up for the Santa Dash? No, but wearing something festive is encouraged. Best costume wins a prize!

Can I bring my dog to the Santa Dash? Yes, dogs are welcome provided they are on a lead and looked after at all times.

Can I bring a buggy to the Santa Dash? Yes, buggies and prams are allowed.

Can I sign up on the day: Yes, however, once the event reaches capacity we cannot accept any more participants.

Will there be anywhere to leave personal belongings? We advise participants to bring minimal personal items. We will be providing bag drop for £1.50 per bag*

Is there parking available? Yes parking is available at the Cardiff County Hall for £5.

How much sponsorship should I raise for Welsh Hearts? Every pound you raise is greatly appreciated and makes a huge difference Welsh Hearts. We would be grateful if each participant could raise £20 for Welsh Hearts. Please remember to tick gift aid if you are a UK Tax payer, HMRC will gift the charity 25p for every £1 you raise without any cost to you.

How will my sponsorship support Welsh Hearts? £1500 could be enough to purchase a 24 hour public access defibrillator. £350 could allow us to hold a CPR and defibrillator training session. Your sponsorship will help to ensure our mission to save lives in Wales continues.

How do I raise sponsorship for Welsh Hearts? The best way to raise sponsorship is to create a fundraising page Virgin Money Giving CARDIFF on behalf of Welsh Hearts and then share the page with your Facebook friends and email contacts. 

Can I raise sponsorship with a sponsorship form? Yes, you can. However, if you are bringing sponsorship cash with you to the Santa Dash please all money in a sealed envelope with your name and sponsorship amount on the front. You can also pay for your sponsorship via card on the day or via BACS transfer.


 *Every effort will be made to keep your items safe, however items are left at the owner’s risk, and we request you limit the items you bring. You will be issued with a numbered ticket and will only be able to collect the item which corresponds with the number on your ticket/ Runner Number. If you lose your ticket you will be asked for a description of bag/ contents and we will ensure your bag is returned to you once everyone else has collected their bags.
